Logistics Analyst
Position Overview
MARKON, Inc. is seeking a qualified, experienced Logistics and Acquisition Analyst to provide logistical and technical support to government clients. Candidate will support program logistics requirements, develop acquisition documentation for DoD programs, work with equipment manufacturing company and government customer to satisfy program acquisition requirements. Additional responsibilities include determining and documenting logistics support resources, resolving technical issues or problems required to operate and maintain product under analysis; assists by providing technical guidance and direction to logistics analyst(s) for assigned programs.
Candidate will participate in interpretation of contract specifications and development of internal specifications for each major logistics documentation effort. They will additionally assist in development of cost proposals, and provide technical guidance and direction to and reviews work of assigned logistics analyst(s), as well as, associate logistics analyst(s), to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Qualified candidate will be able to Identify and perform detailed task analysis for complex operation, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Defines support requirements for system under analysis including spare/repair parts, training devices, common and special tools, test equipment and support equipment. Prepares and/or inputs data into logistics database; validates data in maintenance documentation computer file (LCN Master File).
Candidate will be responsible for developing technically accurate operator and maintenance procedures for complex designs using engineering drawings and other technical source data in compliance with military specifications and customer requirements.
Requirements
- BS/BA from accredited college or university in economics, supply chain management, or related field
- Minimum Five (5) years experience
- Security Clearance Required
