Michael’s professional experience includes 13 years supporting various government agencies as a financial manager and 17 years working as an accountant in the private sector. His wide-ranging experience includes general ledger and sub-ledger maintenance, financial reporting, corporate tax, internal audit support, escheat accounting, payroll, fixed asset, depreciation, budgeting, and financial analyses.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He is a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Government Accountants (NOVAGA) and serves on the Board as Treasurer.
