
Rachel Hanigan
Senior Specialist
Rachel Hanigan leads Markon’s Training Solution and has over 11 years of project and program management across complex domestic and international organizations, including National Institutes of Health and Department of State bureaus of Diplomatic Security and Overseas Building Operations.
Rachel is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and development of the organization’s training services and training brand. She is experienced in learning and development programs, Learning Management System (LMS) implementation and oversight, instructional design and development, and training program analytics. She co-directed Markon’s internal, corporate-wide Consultant Training Program, to include co-authoring and releasing 40 custom e-learning courses. Rachel helped stand up Markon’s training business line, launching and developing new training courses. Rachel leverages innovative instructional delivery methods and data analytics to drive optimal learning results and certify program success.
She is currently enrolled in Training Industry’s Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM™) credential program. Rachel joined Markon in April of 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Mary Washington. Her certifications include Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
