Markon was awarded a contract vehicle for the General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Services (GSA PBS) nationwide Construction Management and Program Management services.
As the landlord for the civilian federal government, GSA PBS acquires space on behalf of the federal government through new construction and leasing and acts as a caretaker for federal properties across the country.
Under the GSA PBS Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, Markon will support two GSA zones: Zone 1 and Zone 4. Zone 1 is inclusive of the New England, Northeast, Caribbean, Mid-Atlantic, and Great Lakes regions. Zone 4 encompasses the National Capital Region. This is a five-year IDIQ award with a contract value of up to $50 million.
Regarding this win, Markon’s Civilian Business Unit Manager said, “This win will allow Markon to take our support of GSA on the road! We have loved the diversity and excitement of our previous GSA projects in the National Capital Region and we are excited to provide this same exceptional support up the Eastern seaboard.”
