    Chief Executive Officer

    Ray Carney

    Ray Carney

    Chief Executive Officer

    Ray successfully delivers financial management and construction programs for multiple federal government agencies and other secure clients. His experience includes providing leadership, program management, organizational strategy, design thinking, data centers, and the creation of secure environments.

    His experience includes providing cradle-to-grave project management support for the successful design and build of secure facilities. Ray is a champion for gender equity and wellness in the workplace. Previously with Markon, he spearheaded the headquarters expansion to ensure that it achieved WELL certification. Ray also led Markon's effort to become the first company on the East Coast to become GEN Certified, the gold standard in gender equity in the workplace.

    Ray is currently a Lecturer at Ohio State University's John Glenn College of Public Affairs, where he teaches the masters level course Project Management in the Public Sector: Challenges, Methods, Tools, and Skills.

    Ray's passion for wellness in the workplace has led him to speak at numerous engagements around the country including the National Facilities Management and Technology (NFMT) Conference and Expo. He also published an article on WELL Building Standards in FaciltiesNet. Ray was named one of Engineering News-Record Mid-Atlantic's 2016 Top 20 Under 40 for his contributions to the industry.

    He received his MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor's degree in Management with a concentration in Business Technology from John Carroll University. Ray is a WELL Accredited Professional, LEED Green Associate, Six-Sigma certified Yellow Belt, Certified Scrum Master®, Sun Certified Java Programmer, and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential as well as both ITIL v3 Foundations and Quality Management certifications.

    Krissy is responsible for the corporate functional areas of contracts, HR, IT, marketing/communications, talent acquisition, and front office administration.

    Krissy brings substantial experience in ensuring overall compliance for our organization. She has designed and implemented training programs tailored for corporate managers, has been actively involved in the implementation and upgrade of enterprise-wide systems, served on merger and acquisition teams, and created onboarding and employee development programs.

    Krissy joined Markon in 2015 after spending 10 years as a Senior HR Manager with Alion Science and Technology. Prior to joining Alion, Krissy was an HR and Training Manager for Wal-Mart Logistics. Krissy started her career in the U.S. Army where she achieved the rank of Captain.

    Krissy earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Military Studies from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in Human Resource Management from Marymount University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and a Society of Human Resources – Senior Professional.

    As Chief Financial Officer, Andrew is a key partner in developing, monitoring, governing, and evaluating Markon's corporate strategy, overseeing planning and analysis with a focus on bottom-line financial and operating performance, and enhancing investor and shareholder value. He is responsible for governing client contracts, company reporting, accounting, treasury, and budgeting and overseeing corporate finance, investor relations, and strategic initiatives to drive high performance and deliver accelerated growth.

    Andrew is a seasoned financial professional with over 16 years of leadership experience in financial and corporate development strategy, M&A transaction, and accounting knowledge within the government services industry. Prior to joining Markon, Andrew served as Chief Financial Officer for Solerity, overseeing the finance, accounting, contracts and procurement, information systems, tax, and treasury functions. Before Solerity, he worked for MTSI as the Senior Director of FP&A, where he led financial planning, reporting, accounting, business analysis, and corporate development. Prior to joining MTSI, he served as senior manager at Ernst & Young, advising on corporate finance, accounting, tax, and merger and acquisition activity.

    Andrew earned a B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

    Drew is Markon's Chief Corporate Development Officer, responsible for M&A activity and acquisitive growth. Previously, Drew led Markon's organic growth strategy and implementation of new market development for the corporation. With over 17 years of program and acquisition management experience, he is adept at developing strategic plans, capital investment processes, program management structures, and financial controls.

    Prior to joining Markon, Drew was a Professional Staffer serving on the U.S. House Appropriations Committee’s Surveys and Investigations Staff where he was charged with evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of high-visibility military, intelligence, and homeland security programs and operations.

    Drew has an MBA in Operations Management from Wake Forest University, a B.A. from Dickinson College, and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential.

    Matt has spent the last decade growing opportunities within the Intelligence Community and establishing himself as an industry leader. Through the successful development of key partner and client relationships, Matt has been able to successfully mature and grow Markon's defense market into a stable platform with multiple agencies, clients, and service offerings around the globe.

    For his clients, Matt is responsible for all aspects of the government consulting spectrum including opportunity identification, opportunity capture, bid/proposal, and performance on federal contracts. Matt leads with a focus on delivering innovative management strategies and is dedicated to growing internal talent for future leadership opportunities.

    He leads multiple contract engagements and competencies, including financial, program management, strategy/governance, agile development, and systems architecture for multiple Intelligence agencies.

    Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College, majoring in Financial Management. His certifications include Certified Scrum Master®, Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP)®, and the ITIL V3 Foundations.

    Dave is Chief Delivery Officer of Markon's Civilian market. He provides project management, financial consulting, and IT services to clients across the Intelligence Community.

    Dave is a Certified Scrum Master® and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential. He earned his MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware.

    In 2013, he was honored as Markon's Employee of the Year.
