      Falls Church Education Foundation Run for the Schools 2017

      2017-Falls-Church-Education-Foundation-Run-for-the-SchoolsPer Markon tradition, on September 17, Markon employees, family, and friends participated in the Falls Church Education Foundation Run for the Schools 5k/1 Mile event. We had a total of 72 participants sign up for this event to support Falls Church Public Schools.

      Markon was the Starting Line Sponsor and won as the largest and fastest team! We donated a total of $3,745 for this great cause. Afterwards, the group met up at a picnic shelter for a team breakfast and raffle.

      Thank you to everyone for participating! Congratulations to James Lee, our fastest Markon team runner and 4th in the entire race, and to Jackie McKeone, who came in 4th out of 230 female runners.
