Markon’s Millennium Challenge Corporation Project in the News!

The Millennium Challenge Corporation’s relocation effort was recently featured in the Washington Business Journal. Much of this effort falls under the contract duties of our Markon team!

    Contract Background

Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) need for a revitalized corporate unity and modern space requirements was the catalyst for their seeking a company able to provide MCC with a flexible Change Management plan. An additional requirement for MCC is professional guidance for designing their new space to facilitate MCC’s changing needs. This includes a variety of unique infrastructure considerations, and the ability to work with the Landlord’s General Contractor to ensure a turnkey operation.

Upon contract award, Markon Solutions’ team met with Millennium Challenge Corporation in late July 2013. The Markon team consists of Drew Thompson, Jeff Bolster, and Rob Coulson. The team brings key functionality to the project with a broad array of expertise.

While Millennium Challenge Corporation has independent leasing authority MCC also works in conjunction with GSA’s leasing guidelines. Markon Solutions provided personnel in lieu of GSA, and GSA may join the MCC relocation effort providing move management services at a later time.
