Veterans Affairs Selects Concourse-Markon Joint Venture to Provide Procurement Policy Support

Markon, in a joint venture with Concourse Federal Group, was awarded a $3.3 million prime contract to provide research, development, and sustainment of procurement policy for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Markon has supported the VA Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction leadership since 2011 with senior procurement policy and acquisition support subject matter experts. One of the primary objectives is updating the VA Acquisition Regulation policies and drafting a VA Acquisition Manual.

“We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs,” said Kyle Werking, Vice President, Civilian Portfolio. “It’s an honor to support this critical project, navigating the federal rulemaking process and ultimately updating the VA’s procurement policies.”

Markon is responsible for procurement policy and acquisition support, project schedule, SharePoint and website development, and ensuring the team successfully meets all milestones and deliverables.
