Washington Headquarters Services Awards $60M Contract to Markon

Markon, a national consulting firm with a federal government focus, was awarded a $60 million prime contract to provide construction management technical support services for Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).

The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes analytical, planning, design, and construction management support. Projects are located on the Pentagon Reservation in Arlington, Virginia, and in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.

Markon has supported WHS in some capacity since 2012. Working with multiple government stakeholders, we address program-wide budgeting, planning, coordination, and project-level support. Our scope of work includes supporting the entire project lifecycle for various construction and renovation projects.

“The Pentagon is an iconic facility involving a high level of security and complexity,” states Steve Genn, Vice President, Defense Portfolio. “We’re honored that WHS has entrusted us as partners to continue supporting their mission.”
